The Ginger bread man needed a time out!

My angel is so silly! She repeats anything we say! She says "Goodness Mom". It is so silly! She has been sick for about 2 weeks but has been such a trooper. We finally took her to see the BEST DOCTOR in Logan! (Dr Visick). He told us she had a sinus infection! (I know, I am MOTHER and nurse of the year)! I kept thinking she was going to get better, and she wouldn't.

Today she tried to hit Mylie over and over again. I finally made her stand in the corner and she came out saying, "Mom, I sorry". "We don't hit." It was the cutest thing ever! Later I found she had put the Christmas ginger bread man in the corner for time out. It was so funny I had to take a picture. "She tells him, we don't hit, tell me when you are sorry!"

I just LOVE her personality and her spunk!

She also loves to play "soccer" She calls any ball soccer ball. It makes me giggle.

She also has been so good at saying please and thank you.

I can't believe how big my little angel is getting!

We had a Christmas Eve party at our house. We had all of my family and all of Eric's family come. It was a blast. I love having family over! It is great when we can all get together and have a good time. We planned to have lunch at our house because I was supposed to work at the hospital at one in the afternoon. I ended up getting put on call and it was a wonderful day.

That evening Kaidance and I went to my Grandma Hancey's for their annual party. It was so much fun. The kids had an amazing time. They planned for Santa to come and bring each kid presents. I LOVE my family! So amazing!

Later that night we went to my parents home. They gave Kaidance and Kylie matching pajamas. They gave Shakobe jammies too, but I think his parents were happy they weren't they same as Kaidance and Kylies:).

We made our first Ginger Bread house! It turned out pretty good. Kaidance wasn't too interested. She liked to eat the candy more than anything.

It was a fun activity to do as a family, I think we will keep it as a Christmas tradition.

The Polar Express

We were lucky enough to be able to go to Heber City last night and ride the Polar Express Train. It was such a great time! I love being able to experience new things with my angel. She loved it. She has been watching the Polar Express movie for a few weeks now and she enjoys it. She loves to make Choo-Choo noises and loves to call big trucks, trains.

Anyway, it was fun. They passed out cookies and Hot cocoa on the ride there. We sang Christmas Carols on the way there and back. We passed Santa on the ride and then he got on our train. It was so exciting to see Kaidance's love for Santa. She calls him SANA CAUSE. At daycare they talked about him, so she will say, SANA CAUSE, HO-HO. It is really cute. She also says that he is going to bring her toys. She talked to him and told him to bring her toys and a baby doll. He gave her a bell and then she gave him a high five!

This seriously made my Christmas!

I was baking cookies a few weeks ago and Kaidance was loving helping me. Then all the sudden she disappeared.

I found that she had taken over Mylie's new bed. She also decided that her baby had to get in the bed with her! I don't think Mylie was too amused!

Christmas Party

Herff Jones had their annual Christmas party at the Fun Park this year! It was the best party I had ever been to. Kaidance LOVES the soft play and bowling there! All the activities were paid for except for Arcade games.
They had Santa come and Kaidance even sat on his lap!
Seriously, Good Job Herff Jones! This was the best Christmas party yet! It was fun for all ages!!

The amazing hosts! Gregg, Jena and Shakobe!

This year we were able to spend some time with both sides of the family for Thanksgiving! Jena and Gregg hosted an amazing Thanksgiving party! They spent so much time and effort into everything! It was by far the BEST Thanksgiving!

We made crafts and ate lots of food! Kaidance loves playing with her cousins and being the life of the party!

We were able to go the Marcy and Val's for a few hours too! What a great way to spend a thankful day!

I am so thankful for my family and extended family! I am blessed to have such amazing parents and in-laws. Our parents were raised by wonderful parents! Kaidance is lucky to have such amazing grandparents and family who love her. I am so thankful for my husband for giving me my beautiful daughter! I am also thankful for my life, I am blessed in every way. I don't know if I deserve all the love and support I have but I couldn't be more grateful. I am also grateful for my profession and what it offers.

Disney on ICE

We were able to go to Disney on Ice the second week in November! It was AMAZING! We are going to make it a tradition and go each year! Kaidance loved it! She clapped and squealed the entire time! We went with Ky and Kimmie and Paul. We sat on the second row and It couldn't have been a better experience!

It you get the chance, go! Fun for everyone! Eric enjoyed it almost as much as Kaidance!

Kaidance Turned 2 on November 2nd 2011.

We celebrated by having a pink and lavender cupcake themed party! It was a blast. Cousins and family were there to share our day. We had homemade soup and then cupcakes and ice cream!

Daddy bought Kaidance some new diamond earrings! She then lost one the next day! (don't worry we found it, but she hasn't been wearing them since) ;)

Kaidance got a lot of good stuff from everyone! Thanks for every one's support and love on this special day!

I can't believe my Angel is 2. It seems like just yesterday I went into labor and found out we had a new little girl addition to our family! I can remember delivery like it was yesterday!

This was the best day of my life, and I can't imagine my life without her! I never thought I could love someone so much!

Kaidance you have brought so much joy and love into my life! I have been truly blessed to be able to call you my daughter! I promise to do my best to be the mother you deserve! I love you with my entire being!

Halloween Carnival

My mom's church had a Halloween Carnival last Tuesday. My mom asked if I wanted to bring Kaidance and we were so excited. I had ordered her costume the first week in October, so I was sure it was going to be here. (I even called the place three times!) The funny story is that it didn't come, though they guaranteed me on the phone it would be here that day. Thus, I didn't go buy a cheap costume. I contemplated taking her, because I didn't have a costume, but she said she wanted to go.

I ran up to her room, looked around and made her into a ballet princess. Silly stuff I had in her room! I guess that had to work.

Little side note, I ended up getting her costume the next day!

The Carnival was great. Kaidance ran around jumping and squealing. She thought is was the best thing ever. She ate cookies, threw rings, did a cake walk, colored, got her face painted and used stickers.

What a blast! Kylie and Shakobe came too! I know my mom was so excited to have all three grand kids there!

We carved pumpkins on Sunday night. It was so much fun. Eric's sister and her family came over along with Ashlee and Ruth. It was so much fun. Marcy and her girls made dessert and it was amazing.

Kaidance LOVES pumpkins! She likes to look at them everywhere. She gets a little nervous if they have a mean face and will sometimes say they are scary! It is really cute! Last year, she ate a lot of the raw pumpkin, gross huh? Well this year it was no different. She carried pieces of pumpkin around with her eating them! What a silly girl!

Binki is "Broken"

Our Sleeping Beauty! Taking up the whole bed! (and the blankets!)

It has officially been 1 week since I took Kaidance's Binki away. I cut them and told her they were broken. She has done so well with it, I can't believe I was dreading it so much. She takes a little longer to take her naps and go to sleep at night, but she has been so amazing through it. About once a day she will ask for Binki! It is cute, I tell her they are broken and see will say, " I see it?" She makes me laugh.

The first night I walked around rocking her to sleep and it was a blessing. I miss my baby and that was really what I needed. She made me realize I need to slow down and enjoy her more. At night we tickle her back, face or belly until she falls asleep.

Yesterday she was playing and she had a conversation with herself. It went something like this:

"A Binki?" "No, it broken." "Mom Broke it." "I see it?" "Mom says I big." "K"

It was the cutest thing! I just watched and listened in amazement. I can't believe she said all of that! She is getting to be so big!

It is her Birthday on the 2nd. Can't wait for the party! We are doing a lavender cupcake theme! It is going to be a blast!

Pumpkin Walk 2011

We went to the Pumpkin Walk last night! It was so much fun! Kaidance loved it! Her favorite was Tangled! She cried and was so upset when we had to leave that display! What a fun night! The long line was worth it!

Oh, and in case you are wondering about the pictures of me, yes I did get braces. I am officially brace face! I had braces placed on my teeth on Wednesday! I get to love them for a year and a half! Hope I get used to them!

My mom and sisters have been so great lately at motivating me to work out. We work out together and I love it. Kaidance LOVES it too. She dances around, then sits and read and dances again.

After workout time, she had to snuggle with Aunt Ash in bed. They watched Lion King. At our house we watch that show at least 3 times a day. It is Kaidance's very favorite right now. She calls it "TIGGGER". (in a deep and raspy voice). It is the cutest thing in the world. No matter how many times I call it Lion, she continues to call it Tiger! Isn't she the best?;)

Kaidance is so funny! She comes up with the funniest things and she just laughs at herself. I love that she has such an attitude! She is my spunky girl! Here in the pictures she pulled her pajama shirt up over her head and was just peaking out through the hole. She thought she was funny and we were laughing at her, so she thought it was the best trick ever!

In case anyone doesn't know, we call her Rooie or Roo. This is because she jumps all the time. She has done this since she was just a little baby. She has had the nick-name since she was about 3 or 4 months old.

Her nick-name was shining at gymnastics on Friday. She started Gymnastics this week at Highpoint Gymnastics. She was so upset at first when she saw the children because she thought we were going to leave her.(like daycare) After she realized we weren't leaving her, she had a blast. She keeps telling us she wants to go back. I just love my little gymnast. She the youngest in her class but she can do all the jumps and stuff just as well if not better than the other kids! She is too funny! Wish I had pictures of gymnastics, I will take some this week!

HAHA! Kaidance has a new friend. She pulls her around the entire house. She feeds her whatever she eats and whatever she drinks. She also feeds the witches cat. She is so hilarious! She is so active right now and she is talking all the time!

Ask her about her friends and she will tell you, "I don't like" or "Don't want". She thinks that friends means she has to go to daycare. She is sure having a difficult time adjusting to the whole daycare thing. The teachers at the daycare have been GREAT with her, though!

We took Kaidance to Lagoon this last Saturday. It was the opening day of Fright mares. It was a blast. I have never been to Lagoon when Fright mares is going on.

We are getting ready for HALLOWEEN! I love this time of year! I love the fall colors and smells. We put up our Halloween decor yesterday and it was so fun! Kaidance walks around saying pumpkins and loving the new things that are out. She even attempted eating a candy-corn candle. It was cute!;)

We were able to see my sister and brother in law a few weekends ago. My brother-in-law graduated from an amazing lineman school! He is amazing. He is so knowledgeable and great at what he does.

We headed to Boise on Thursday afternoon. It was a long drive, but we made it. Kaidance did great! Friday Jess was in the lineman Rodeo (see climbing pictures). That was so cool to watch. Then Friday night was his Graduation. It was well put together. The school he went to is very credible and has an awesome reputation.

Saturday we went to a FUN water park. It wasn't real hot, and Kaidance was cold, but she went on every slide they would allow! She loves water and has no fear!

Sunday we went to the Boise Zoo.

It was a great vacation! I love my family!!!

We drove to Burley this last Sunday to meet Kristin and Jess. Ashlee drove with me, and she was waving to guys! It was awkward! (I am a little old for that);). But it was SO funny! She is a total babe, and I am sure they thought she was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen!

Anyway, it was a real quick trip up and back, but Princess Kaidance was a complete Angel. She didn't even cry the whole way up or back!

Richard G. and Julie Rigby of Richmond, Utah, announce the marriage of their daughter Natalie Rigby to Eric James Britt, son of Ruth and Brent Swainston of Fairview, Idaho, and Robert and Renee Britt of Fort Collins, Colo.

The couple will be married July 19, 2003. A reception will be from 6 to 8 that evening at the Richmond Stake Center, 135 W. Main. Friends and relatives are invited.

Natalie is a 2003 graduate of Sky View High School and LDS seminary. She is attending Bridgerland Applied Technology College and Utah State University, earning her nursing degree. Natalie is employed at Sunshine Terrace.

Eric has lived in Colorado and enjoys the outdoors there. He especially loves to fish, hunt and be with Natalie. Eric is employed through ABC Construction at Nucor Steel.

Showers were given by Janet Bair and aunts, Kristin Rigby and Heather MacElwee.

They are registered at U & I Furniture in Preston, Bob/s Mart in Preston and Wal-Mart.

After a short honeymoon the couple will reside in Richmond. Eric and Natalie would like to thank all of their families and friends for their love and support, especially their mothers.

Lagoon was so much fun. Kaidance loved every second of it! She was not scared on any rides. She would cry when the ride would start to slow down because she did not want to get off. I don't think I have ever had that much fun at Lagoon! It was a blast. We did not get a lot of pictures because we didn't take our camera. I had to use my mom's memory card!

Dont' mind that she has her binki in her mouth in most of these! I guess I didn't realize it was that bad! That has been something we have been working on the last few days!

She has recently fallen in love with the jogger stroller. She loves to be in it. (I guess this is good motivation for me to get out and run). She squeals and yells whoa when we go over bumps and she tells me when I am not going fast enough! :)

Happy Birthday to Eric, yesterday.

I couldn't ask for a better husband and father to my little princess. He always thinks about us before himself.

I tried and tried all day to get Kaidance to tell him happy birthday or sing to him. I did get her her say, "Happy Daddy". I thought that was great, and I am sure Eric loved it too.

We had a relaxing day in the morning because Eric had just gotten off work. For dinner we went to Texas Roadhouse. Eric was adamant he wasn't going to sit in the saddle, but my family had other plans for him!!! Thus, he sat in the saddle.

After dinner we came back to our house and had cake and ice cream. (I hope you all know I made the cake with some help from my mom, and it even turned out eatable)!

After the celebration, we headed to Logan for Eric's softball game. They won their game. He was PLAYER OF THE GAME, and he even hit a home run, over the fence!!! What a way to end the night!

NEW JOB

I now have a new job! I am going to work full-time at Bridgerland Applied Technology College. I will be working with first year nursing students. My profession is great. I get to work 4 days a week, no weekends , no holidays. I will teach one class, do 2 days of clinicals and educate the students on nursing skills 2 days a week in the lab.

I am more excited than ever. This is what I went to school for, but I never imagined it would happen so quickly. My new job has amazing benefits and a retirement plan. I LOVE educating students. It is my all-time favorite. I have such a desire for nursing and I hope to pass it on to the students. I accepted the job last Monday. It is all coming together quickly, but I couldn't be happier. I am sure it will be a huge learning curve, but I am excited to tackle this new task.

I am sad to be leaving Logan Regional ICU full time, but will stay working one day a week to keep my skills up to date. I want to make sure I can practice what I preach! :)

I sure love all my co-workers at both places. I am so nervous but excited to begin this new journey in life!

An Auto accident

June eleventh was a horrible day.

I was working, Eric and Kaidance were working in the yard. They had gone to Logan to get some trees and plants to put in the yard. Anthony (our nephew) was helping them. On the way home from Logan they were in an accident.

The accident occurred in Smithfield. A police car flipped a U-turn right in front of Eric. Eric was going north and the police car was going south. The police car saw someone in head of Eric that was speeding, so he hurried and flipped around to get them, not seeing the Yukon coming. Eric had about 3 seconds to react, no blinker, no lights, no warning. He tried to slam on the brakes, but there wasn't enough time. Eric hit into the passenger side of the car. We blessed that it wasn't the driver side, or the police officer may not be here. Eric, Anthony and Kaidance were all in seat-belts (car seat), but were taken to the ER to be looked over. Everyone was really shook up, but nobody had life-threatening injuries. Kaidance had a concussion, and let me tell you it was a week from Hell. We even took her back into the ER the next day because she was throwing up so often. Anthony injured his foot and Eric hurt his hands. As far as I know the police officer had some facial damage and leg damage.

Really, it was a nightmare come true when I received that call when I was at work. I was told my family was okay and breathing, but I had to witness it for myself. I hope that day never comes again!

All in all, everyone was very lucky nobody was hurt worse. The Yukon and the police car are totaled.

Thanks to our wonderful support system for helping us through the last few weeks. We have been counting our blessings and realizing that our lives our so precious. We have a wonderful family and amazing friends. Everyone has been so kind to us. Thanks for thinking about us.

Furthermore, we are looking for a new vehicle. What do you suggest? We want an SUV, realizing how the accident could have been much worse if they were in a little car. WE are thinking about getting a GMC Acadia, Denali, in Black. Let me know what you think!

We have had Sunday and Monday off together as a family! It has been so nice to spend some time together. I love my family and sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky, because I am surrounded by such wonderful people. I guess I have to work extra hard to attempt to be like them. What a great example they are to me!

Kaidance is getting so big. We have been trying to get outside as much as possible, but the rain is not being nice to us. I can't wait for a warm day! (and I know Kaidance feels the same!)

Lately, little Rooie girl loves to throw the ball to the dogs. It is fun to see them run after it, and she just giggles.

Also, Ashlee and I had a little situation the other night. We got Kaidance out of the tub, and then locked the bathroom door upstairs. We had Kaidance out of the bathroom, but we locked ourselves out. I am totally OCD and the bathroom wasn't cleaned up from her bath. So we spend about an hour and a half attempting to get into the bathroom. Lucky for us, we found a key and got in. Just so you know, Kaidance was watching the whole time, and the picture was the next day. She kept trying to open the doors with the end of a hanger! HAHA! Funny how much she understands!

Kaidance loves to be outside. It does not matter how cold or hot it is outside, she just wants to be out there! It is fun to see how she is growing and learning. She knows if she puts her shoes and jacket on that she gets to go outside, thus she gets her shoes out and tries to put them on herself.

The last two days she has been using the potty more. She even pooped in the potty for her first time yesterday, and then again today. When she finishes she yells "YAY" and claps her hands. It is the sweetest thing in the world!

Kaidance turned 18 months old on May 2nd. I am still in shock at how old my baby is getting. She is so funny! She speaks a lot now, sometimes you can understand and sometimes you can't! Her favorite game is Ring-Around-The Rosies. She loves to play and attempts to get everyone in on the fun. She also started jumping off things. She will say, "Ready, Set Go!" and then jump. It is fun, but scary because she has no fear and will jump off anything.

We took her to see Dr Visick for her 18 month check up. He thinks she looks great! She is just a silly little girl. She was very good. The only problem is the shots she has to get. She is now getting old enough to realize what is going on. She held her breath so long her lips turned purple. It was not the highlight of the day. After shots Eric promised she could go pick out a toy. (HAHA). A toy turned into multiple toys with multiple dollar signs! :). But she had a good time and it was nice to get her mind off the shots.

This last week we turned her car seat around to face forward. I was a little hesitant,but I think she is doing okay facing forward. She loves to watch Dora in the car and is much more pleasant now that she can face forward and see what is going on. She just looks so big facing forward, I can't even believe how big she is getting. She sure isn't my baby anymore, she is my little princess.

Kaidance is so funny! She keeps talking and talking. Her vocabulary is increasing and I love it! I always giggle when she talks.

Last week she got her first sunburn. It was sad, but it didn't even seem to bother her. She is such a little sweetheart. She loves to be outside. Lately she will get so upset if we attempt to take her in from playing outside.

Kaidance did the funniest thing the other day. Eric and I were dancing on the Wii and we looked over at her. She was climbing on the couch and then jumping off the cough onto the bean-bag. We laughed so hard at her and she thought it was the best time ever!

Last but not least, it was my grandpa Rigby's birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday Grandpa! We love him so much! He is just the nicest guy! He is always willing to help anyone! Kaidance loves him, and he is so good with her! I have to say, he looks MUCH younger than he is! Who else has a grandpa that is 71 and still hunts, hikes, works, does yard work, rides horses and so much more??? We love you Grandpa, Happy Birthday!

I had to work on Easter, but I took Saturday off to celebrate. Kaidance had a BLAST at the Easter egg hunt in Richmond. She had an egg in each hand and was throwing them into her basket so she could get more. She was so funny! She even spotted a little boy's basket on the ground and ran to it to get the eggs out. I had to stop her, otherwise he would have lost all his eggs.

Kristin was here so she helped us take pictures. Later that night we moved Kristin and Jess' stuff into our basement. They are moving to Boise! Jess is going to school there and is going to do amazing!

Before bed we dyed Easter Eggs. Eric thought it would be fun to involve Kaidance, boy was he right! It was a blast. (You know me and my OCD ways!) It was a mess! She had a blast though. She had dye everywhere, and she even drank a little of it! Kaidance basically broke every egg she touched! It was TOO FUNNY!

Sunday I worked, but we had Kaidance's stuff set out on Saturday night, so she could get stuff from the Easter bunny! Sunday when I got home Kaidance got to do her own Easter egg hunt in the Basement and she got her own basket.

Later that night I had an Easter Egg hunt of my own. Eric and Kaidance (and I am sure they had help from Kristin and Jess) hid eggs with clues inside. At the end I found a diamond necklace! It is beautiful and I love it!

Today was such a great day, despite the fact that Kaidance woke-up before six am this morning. She took an early nap and then it was off for a fun filled day.

We went to two different parks today. She played and played. Then we went and got her cousin Kylie and they played at the park. Kaidance cried when we had to leave. She also jumped on Kylie's tramp with her. She just loves playing with Kylie. She even yells for Kylie, it is so cute.

I am officially finished with school. I had my graduation on Friday, April 22nd 2011. It was such a great day.

We had a good time. Kristin drove down from Twin Falls and stayed with me on Thursday. We have so much fun together, we are both a little dorky! We got Kaidance ready and Kristin did my hair for me on Friday morning. We picked up my mom and then met Eric in Hyde Park. We were then off to Ogden.
My first ceremony was at 1100. It was the hooding ceremony. This was only for the Master's students in either the Health Science Field.

Then we had a break and went to lunch. After lunch we went for a quick shopping trip at the Mall.

Next, was my Graduation ceremony. It was nice to be able to walk with the group of people I have done this with for the last 2 years. The fun thing was that the first group of LPN students I ever taught graduated with their RN, while I was graduating with my Master's. It was fun, we took a picture together, but I don't have a copy of it yet.

After graduation we came home and found out that ASHLEE, MY LITTLE SIS MADE THE SKY VIEW DANCE TEAM! I think only 3 freshman made it, her and two others, so she is AMAZING!
Eric made plans to have a family dinner when we got home. Thanks to all my family and friends for all the support. I have felt so blessed to be able to earn my degree, but even more blessed to have such an amazing support system. Thanks for always putting up with me.

Lastly, I have to thank my good friend Heather. She was the one who helped me get through the program. At times I thought I might not make it and she would always tell me I could do it and calm me down. She has been the best friend I could ever ask for ! Thanks Heather, I love you!

I seriously have the most amazing sisters in the world. I love them so much! (That includes you Jena!). If I were to ask anyone of them for something, it wouldn't even be a question, they would be right there for me. I don't know how I got so lucky! I love you guys so much!

Kimmie is amazing. She is such a giver. She is always willing to help anyone. She is quiet, but has a heart of gold.

Jena is so wonderful. She never complains. Jena takes time to really listen to people and help other's in need. She has patience like I have never seen.

Kristin is great! She takes time to call me everyday just to see how we are doing. She is a goer, she wants to be planning something for someone, all the time.

Ashlee is such a beautiful person. She has the type of personality that everyone loves. She gets along with everyone and is always trying to include others. She always has a smile on her face, and she can make you laugh at any time!

So, lately Ashlee has been doing so many things. She is trying out for Vistauns right now, and she does not even seem nervous. I am SURE I am more nervous that she is. Also, she is running for Student Council. We made her posters the other night, and they turned out great. She is so creative! ( I think she took all the creative genes because I am not creative at all.)

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to say this, but here it goes: I AM GRADUATING! Shout it from the roof tops! I wasn't sure I was going to make it through it. But I did it. I just turned in my last paper and I feel like 100 pounds has been lifted off my back (a girl can only dream, right?). I am all set to graduate on April 22nd, 2011. I am very proud of myself. I have found a new sense of self in knowing I was able to complete graduate schooling. Now I can focus more on the things I love, such as family/friends, caring for others and educating others. I want to become a better person, and I have truly learned more than I can explain by going to school (not just about education, but about myself). I am going to take just a second to brag, and say I am happy for what I have accomplished and glad I can set an example for my daughter! Now, to take the advice of one of my favorite PhD instructors, own who you are and what you do. That being said here it goes: I am Natalie Rigby Britt, RN, MSN-ed. Take that life!!!!

Kaidance peed in the toilet! I can't believe it. I know it probably wasn't planned, but I almost started to cry when it happened. I can't believe my baby girl is getting so big.

It happened when we were getting ready for tubby time. I had her all undressed, so I just sat her on her potty and told her to try to piddle. I was talking, (like I always do) about some nonsense I am sure. I was telling her about how big girls wear panties and how they don't have to wear itchy diapers because they go potty in the toilet. All of the sudden I hear her throne making music. I was in shock. I was wondering if it was real. Sure enough, there was urine in her little pink toilet. She just looked at me like, "Okay mom, will you be quiet now?"

Anyway, just wanted to document the first time she went potty in the the toilet, as April 14th, 2011.

P.S. I am sure she will love that I posted this when she gets a little older!

Kaidance Khloe (AKA my BFF)

Kaidance is my BFF! I would spend every single day with her if I could. She may get sick of me, but oh geeze, I could kiss her cheeks all day long.

Today we went to Logan and I took her to ride the quarter (50 cents now) rides in the front of the mall. She is in Heaven. She loves it. She also loves the other kids there, until they get too close to her! HAHA.

After the mall we headed to Cafe Sabor. We met up with a bunch of girls from work. They are all so fun. We were having a going away party for one of my favorite girls I work with. She just started a new job at McKay Dee. Boo for us, Yay for her! I love ya Teen, and will miss you so dang much!

Oh, and just so you all know, I got home at 2 and realized I had left my coffee cup sitting out. ( I know, how could I not clean up after myself). Well anyway, as I was going to dump it and put it in the dishwasher, I realized a HEART had formed on the top of the coffee. Check it out! It is so amazing. Now I don't want to dump it out!

I had to go to Weber State today and pick-up my cap and gown for graduation. (YAY for me). So, I figured I would make it a date. Heather and I packed up the girls after breakfast and headed to Ogden. It was a great day! The girls were very good. Bre and Camber watched a movie and Kaidance just watched them the whole way there.

Then we went to eat and to Fat Cats. I had never been, but it was a blast. Kaidance loved it! The girls got some energy out and then the two little ones slept the whole way home!

It was a fun little trip! Glad I was able to have a great day off with some of my favorite girls!

We are trying to keep warm and busy. Kaidance gets really bored of being inside all the time. I feel really bad for her because she will sit and pound on the doors and windows because she wants to go outside. She doesn't care how cold it is, she just loves being outside.

She also loves the dogs. Whenever she hears them or we talk about them she will go and pound on the door so that she can see them. She is always trying to take care of them. She tries to feed them whatever she is eating and she even makes attempts to give them her Binky. It is really cute. She is such a little giver.

A few nights ago she fell on the wood floor and did not catch herself. She cut the inside of her lip/gums. It was horrible. It was bleeding and it was awful to witness as a mother. I am glad Eric was home because he really does well at calming Kaidance down when she is hurt. But to make a long story short, she got her first fat lip. It was so sad, but she was a trooper.

Also, this past month she has had a cold. It seems it wouldn't go away. I finally took her to the doctor and she had a sinus infection. We started her on antibiotics and she is doing so much better. Poor girl!

Today we are going to the doctor for allergy testing, so I will have to let everyone know what happens with that.

It seems that time goes so fast these days. It is so bitter sweet to watch our Princess grow up. She is getting so big and learning so fast. She amazes me everyday!

Lately she calls her grandparents, Bampa. It is cute. She does not decipher between grandmas and grandpa. It is cute. She has learned some of the animal sounds and it is so cute to hear her say them. Kaidance also knows her body parts. You can ask her where her eyes, ears, hair, etc is and she will point to it/them. She also LOVES to watch Dora. Today she was pointing to the TV and saying Dora. It was so cute!

Recently she has had a terrible cold. We haven't gone to story time for a couple of weeks and we haven't really done much because she hasn't been feeling too good. Her nose and her cough are awful. She coughs so hard the vomits and it makes me feel so bad for her. Sometime during all this she started getting all four eye teeth. I have heard those are pretty painful, so I am feeling sorry for her. But, I am hoping we are on the mend from the cold.

Her favorite things lately are jumping on the tramp, playing horsey, playing ring around the Rosie's, watching Baby Einstein's and being with her daddy.

We love her so much, I can't believe our baby is 15 months old!!!!

My little Princess LOVES her Tubby time!

Kaidance has ALWAYS loved the vacuum. When she was a little baby the noise would calm her down.

For the last few months she likes to go around and be held while you vacuum. Occasionally she will get down, look at the front of the vacuum and then look at the floor, as if to see if I am doing a good job, and then come back up in my arms.

Yesterday, she wanted to attempt to vacuum by herself. She would not let me help hold the the handle and she would get extremely upset if I turned the vacuum off. Long story short, it was a BAD idea. Now I can't vacuum without her screaming at me because she wants to do it. I am looking at the bright side, now I can have an excuse for having dirty floors, I can't get the vacuuming done!

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful and amazing mother and sister! I love them both more than I can even begin to explain.

Mom, it was truly a blessing to have Ashlee on your birthday. She has been the best thing our family could have ever asked for. She really completes our family. I know she is the youngest, but I honestly believe she is the rock to our family. She brings us all closer together. We all share a love, but she has the most love to give. She is the baby of the family, but she is the biggest example to our family. I can never thank you enough for adding her to our family. I truly believe she was sent from Heaven to enable our family to become the strongest possible. I love you Ash.

I couldn't ask for a better mother. You are everything a mother is supposed to be and more. You are always looking to help others and make everyone else happy. I hope to someday be half the mother you are to me, to Kaidance. You have taught me so much. You work hard and lead by example. I know I can always look to you for whatever I need.

One of my fondest memories of you when I was a child was how you would always be there when we needed you. You worked all day babysitting and then would go to work all night. I do not know how you did it. I know now, that you did it for the best interest of us, and for that I can never repay you. Another thing I remember was how you always would help me study or do projects. No matter how late it was or what time you had to be up in the morning, you would help me study or do my projects so that I would do well.

Really, thanks for everything.

Lately Kaidance will not let us help her with anything. She wants to do everything for herself. It sure makes feeding time difficult. She also HATES milk. I also do not like milk, but I am trying to get her to like it. My mom suggested the Gossner's flavored milk and it has been working but only if she can drink it from the straw. If I put it in her sippy cup, she will just spit it out. She also has been off the bottle for about a month now. She had a really easy time with that. Now is the hard part, the BINKI. I am a big wimp when it comes to this, but I know we are going to have to do it.

Anyway, her hair is getting so long, thus we have been attempting new hair styles. I must say that she looks adorable.

For the most part Kaidance is such a happy little girl! She loves to play and she LOVES other kids.

I have been thinking a lot about family. I MUST say that I have the best family ever. I love everyone of them. I appreciate how much they all support me and are there for me whenever I need a little assist. It amazes me the love a family can share.

I have the best husband and daughter that anyone could ever imagine. I often times feel as if I don't deserve either one of them. I know they are with me to make me a better person.

My siblings and their significant others are great. I couldn't ask for a better support system. I am thankful everyday for my brother and sisters. They always have so much to offer, and it makes me strive to want to be a better sister.

My parents, mother-in law and grandparents are the most AMAZING examples, not only to me but to everyone around them. They have so much love and understanding to give. It is wonderful. They are striving everyday to serve others and make sure everyone is pleased. I hope to one day be half the person they are.

Lately I have missing my little sister. Not that I don't have other family around, but I sure miss Kristin. She has been by my side through everything. She knows how to make me smile when I am sad, and we just understand each other. She is someone I look up to, even though she is younger than me. I send her pictures of Kaidance on a daily basis, and I am sure she thinks I am crazy, but I don't want her to miss a thing. I want her to know that even though she isn't right here in the same city I am always thinking about her.

Kristin, I am so proud of you and Jess for being such strong independent people. You are both getting your education and making something for yourselves. I can't wait for the day when you tell me you are moving closer so that we can hang-out more often. I LOVE YOU and miss you like crazy! Thanks for being my best-friend!

Our house has been busy just getting back into the swing of things.

Kaidance had an amazing Christmas. She was so fun. She loved opening presents, just ripping one piece of paper at a time, but then she didn't want to open more, she just wanted to play with what she had opened. It was great. We video taped a lot, did not take a lot of pictures. She was also sick with a cold the week of Christmas, so we just took it easy.

Lately she is so funny. This is my Favorite age, (I am sure I will say that a lot). But really, she interacts so well and understands so much. She is learning where her, eyes, ears and nose are. It always amazes me how much she understands.

It is still her favorite to do the laundry, so we do that on a daily basis.

As for Eric, his work seems to be picking up for the month of January. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We are sure looking forward to getting back to normal at Nucor.

As for me, I am just starting up my LAST semester of school. On April 22, 2011 I will officially be done with my Master's degree in Nursing Education. WAHOO!!!! The hospital has been keeping me busy working. I have had some hard times there, nursing can be an emotional roller-coaster. It has been difficult to see life changing events, but I know I am blessed to work in the field I do. As for teaching, we are off until February, so I am just getting as much Kaidance time as possible.

Kaidance is so funny. She has the best personality in the world. She is a little spit-fire. She always makes me laugh and is always doing something. Lately she has been "blowing her nose" but blowing her mouth! It makes me giggle. Also, when she sees a sock or shoe, she will sit down and try to put it on. Over the weekend my mom, Eric's mom and my little sister watched her. My little sister spilled some oatmeal and said, "oh no, I spilled." Immediately Kaidance got a paper towel and handed it to her.

She is so smart, it amazes me!

I just turned in my last final for the semester! I am so excited to have a month long break from school!

She loves, loves, loves it! She wants out in it! She holds her breath and then squeals at the cold air. She yells at me when I bring her back in. She just keeps going up to the glass and kissing it. She goes from one door to the next! It is the cutest thing ever.

Today the national weather channel has issued a blizzard warning. Kaidance is ready to face it! She looks so cute! She is the cutest Eskimo ever. We are preparing to stay inside and make some fudge and cookies together!

Oh, and her new favorite thing is doing the laundry with me. She takes the clothes out of the laundry basket and gets in herself. We started a new thing and I push her around the house in it. It is so funny, she just giggles and holds on for dear life! She also throws the clean clothes down the stairs and scatters them all over. She is a GREAT help. She now just started pulling and pushing the laundry basket around. It is her favorite toy. She even took it in her play house with her. It is so cute!

Can you believe that my baby girl is one? It is crazy to me. Just so everyone knows, we had a party for her and it was a huge success. We are so grateful to everyone who came and shared the special day with us.

It was a themed party, it was black, white and pink princess themed.

We had an amazing photographer come and take pictures. She took something like 500 and something pictures. It is very difficult for me to decide which ones to post, but here it goes!

The photographer is Terri James, she is listed as one of my friends, check her out! She is GREAT!!! (Great prices too!)

Kaidance is the best little girl! She is always getting into something, but always laughing! She loves her new toys and we get a kick out of watching her!

It is so fun! I am loving every second of life with her right now!

Sad thing is, she is either getting a cold or her teeth are really bugging her. She has had a low grade fever and a runny/stuffy nose. With her nose congestion, she hasn't been sleeping too good. The time change has also really messed her up. She can't quite figure it out.

Anyway!

We went to the doctor today and here are her amazing stats!

Height: 29.25 Inches or 53rd Percentile

Weight: 17.75 Pounds, or 5th Percentile

Head Circumference: 18 inches or 67th Percentile

Oh, and she did pretty well until he had to look in her ears~! The shots were horrible, but after they were done Eric took her and she stopped crying. I hope the next few days go smoothly! Wish us luck!

Pumpkin Walk 2010

The pumpkin walk this year was a blast. Kaidance LOVED it! She laughed at all the lights and pumpkins. We went with our good friends and it was great. Last year when we went I was so pregnant that it was difficult for me to walk the entire time:)

Oh, and today, one year ago was the day we got to bring Kaidance home from the NICU!!!!!

She also has her one year doctor's appointment tomorrow, so be watching for the stats!

Birthday Fun

Kaidance turned one on Tuesday and we had a really fun party. Everything turned out great. She seemed to have a blast. She opened presents and smashed her cake until nothing was left of it, but never even put any in her mouth.

She is the most beautiful princess in the world.

Yellowstone in JULY!

My WHOLE family went to Yellowstone in July! It was great! We had a really good time. It was amazing that all my siblings and my parents were there! I LOVE family time!

The Day she was born! November 2, 2009

Kaidance Khloe is one today. I honestly cannot believe she is one. I remember going into labor like it was yesterday. Last year at this time Eric and I were in the hospital wondering what our baby was going to look like, act like and be like.

Now, I have Kaidance, I don't know what my life was like without her. She is my entire world. Every second of everyday I am thinking of her. She means so much to me and I hope she will someday understand how much she is loved.

Kaidance, we love you more than life itself. You are constantly making me laugh and I am loving every new skill you pick up on. Your little faces you make and your little attitude is wonderful. I would not change a thing about you, you are PERFECT.

Some things about Kaidance:

*She started walking at about 9 and a half months

*She was born at an average size, but seems to be small for her age

*She is a daddy's girl

*She is shy and hides when people talk to her

*She has a cute little giggle

*She loves to dance and listen/watch her baby Einstein movies

*She has 8 teeth

*She mimics a lot of the things we do.

*She is a good eater, and will eat almost anything we are eating

*Her favorite treat right now is Kit-Kat's

*She loves to play in the water.

*She loves getting in the tub, but hates getting dressed afterwards.

*She loves little children and any kind of dog

I could go on and on, but I will just post some pictures because that is the best part!

I love you Kaidance, I can't believe how you have made me feel complete. You seriously melt my heart!

Happy Halloween! I hope everyone had a good night last night. We sure did. It was Kaidance's first Halloween. She loved it. She was an amazing pumpkin carver and she looked adorable in her costume. Kylie came up and went trick-or treating with us. She was so funny, she would always say "Trick or Treating!"

Well, Eric did Kaidance's hair for the first time yesterday when I was at work. You tell me what you think, but I think it looks wonderful. He does a better job than I do. ;)

Oh, and yesterday was my Beautiful niece Kylies birthday! She is so funny. I just love her. She always says "Kaidance is my best friend." or "Kaidance loves me."

My mom's church had a Halloween Carnival for the kids. The young men and young woman were in charge of it and it turned out great. There was a lot of children there, way more than I expected. Aunt Ash was doing the cake walk and it was really fun for Roo, she danced when the music was going! It was really cute! She loved the sucker they gave her at the fish pond! (it even stained her cute costume!) Cousin Kylie came with my mom and we just made it a fun night!

I have a few pictures, but they don't really do the cute girls justice. They were both unsure about all the people, but I think they both had fun in the end!
